As a Swine Technician, you will be responsible for daily feeding programs, sorting and weighing pigs, maintaining clean animal living quarters, and performing minor maintenance and general farm duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and treating animal health issues and keeping accurate livestock performance records.
To qualify for the role, you must meet the age requirement of 21 to 43 years old and have a College Graduate degree in Animal Science or a related field. High School Graduates are also welcome to apply, but with a minimum of 3 years of continuous full-time work experience in a commercial barn/farm environment.
So if you meet the above qualifications, make sure you have the following documents ready:
- an updated CV/Resume;
- a valid passport (at least 3 years), IELTS or CELPIP (CLB 5);
- Birth Certificate;
- SSS Static Report;
- Certificates of Employment (for the past 10 years);
- College and High School Diploma and TOR; and
- your most recent NBI Clearance
Surprisingly, you can earn a competitive salary of CAD 35,562 per year, equivalent to PHP 1,458,042 or 121,503.5 if you work as a swine technician in Canada!
