Surprisingly, the National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA) has announced several vacancies across various job positions.

- One (1) Project Development Assistant IV (Php 18,549 Monthly Salary)
- Five (5) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist I (Php 26,754 Monthly Salary)
- Five (5) Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialist II (Php 32,053 Monthly Salary)
NAMRIA is hiring for several positions, including a Project Development Assistant IV and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Specialists I and II.
The Project Development Assistant IV position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, IT, or Engineering. No experience or training is required, but preference will be given to candidates with CS Sub-Professional First Level Eligibility. The place of assignment will be in the Physiography and Coastal Rescue Division, with a monthly salary of Php 18,549.
The GIS Specialist I position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Geodetic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Forestry, or other related engineering courses. Candidates should have at least three (3) months of experience in GIS application, using software such as ARCGIS, and at least ten (10) hours of related training. No eligibility is required, and the place of assignment will be in the Land Classification Division (LCD), with a monthly salary of Php 26,754.
The GIS Specialist II position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, similar to GIS Specialist I. Candidates should have at least one (1) year of experience in land classification status verification using GIS as a tool, and at least twenty (20) hours of related training. No eligibility is required, and the place of assignment will be in the Land Classification Division (LCD), with a monthly salary of Php 32,053.
These positions offer competitive monthly salaries and require different levels of education, experience, and training. The place of assignment will be in specific divisions within NAMRIA, and eligibility requirements vary for each position.

The required documents include a properly accomplished Personal Data Sheet, a Work Experience Sheet, and two recent Individual Performance Commitment and Review Forms (for government employees).
Other application documents include certificates of training attended, previous employment, eligibility certificates, professional licenses, diploma and transcript of records, service record (for government employees), and certificates of awards and recognition.
External applicants are also required to download and accomplish an Applicant’s Qualification Form in excel format, which should be submitted together with the other requirements.
It is important to note that only complete applications submitted on time will be considered for the position applied for.
The scanned documents submitted shall only be used for the position applied for, and a maximum of three positions can be applied for by the applicant.

The submitted application documents (both hard and electronic copies) shall be retained for a period of one year. They shall be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws and office regulations.
